For those wondering why people are laughing. I've been to a show, we are prepped to laugh. They bring out a standup comedian, then another one, then the host comes out and cracks some jokes, then the show starts taping. When it does, we are at a place where everything feels funny. It's human manipulation - the audience needed some time to get out of the trance.

You're never going to see this but I lost my mother in February and this monologue means so much to me. Craig as a person means the world to me, and I thank you for everything that you have done for me. I will always support you, you're my favorite fucking comedian, hands down, without a doubt <3

This audience was so tone deaf

I met Brittany Spears during her issues when the paparazzi were harrasing her and she almost crashed her car and dropped her baby! You can see she had mental issues and should have had a nanny and driver with her. It was sad.

I came here expecting to watch a couple minutes. I did not think I'd sit for the whole thing but here i am. What an iconic monologue.

What's the telephone book line mean?

Very few people left in the world who have this type of integrity. Look at the shameless audience laughing. Just because a celebrity gets an inordinate amount of popularity it doesn't mean they aren't a human being deserving of dignity.

I can forgive the audience the first few laughs because his sincerity was unexpected, but they kept laughing at inappropriate times throughout the duration of this monologue and i makes me so uncomfortable. He was taking about wanting to end his life people were still chuckling. So unempathetic, i dont like it.

I like that Craig is very serious throughout but still makes jokes to keep it entertaining and light enough to enjoy. But the only jokes that he makes are at his own expense and not once does he mock or belittle anyone else he talks about. A real touch of class.

It's very kind of him to use his own experience to deflect from Britney's here. To make them laugh at himself, he gives her a break. Good work mate.

He sounds so scottish here. Usually i think he has lost his accent but i can definitely more than hear it, too. Also that audience sucks they didnt understand the assignment.
